Mold, mold, mold everywhere! The dinghy, the ropes, the shade cloths, the fenders, the sails! You name it, it's on it! If we knew we would be away for this long, we would have taken down the sails and kept away the ropes, fenders, shade cloths. Should've, would've, could've.. {or is it could've, would've, should've}
Fortunately the interior was not as moldy, but there are some stubborn spots of mold that just can't be cleaned off our 20 year old paint and wood. It's definitely time for us to consider re-varnishing the wood and re-painting the interior with a new type of anti-mold paint.
It's back to work on Raptor. Lots of cleaning, repair work and maintenance. We're hoping to get her in ship shape by end of December 2016 but our list just keeps getting longer and everything takes double/triple the time on a boat.
Good luck to us!
