A day trip to The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, about 3 hours drive up north from Perth. The Pinnacles are natural limestone formations formed many many years ago, after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells.
Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, revealing these hidden pillars as if rising up from the yellow sand dunes. How exactly the sea shells formed into these pinnacles still remain a bit of a mystery. The many wonders of nature.
