Road Trip - Pinnacles, Western Australia

A day trip to The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, about 3 hours drive up north from Perth. The Pinnacles are natural limestone formations formed many many years ago, after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells.  Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, revealing these hidden pillars as if rising up from the yellow sand dunes. In & Around Perth, Australia

Our plans to return to Raptor in Trinidad via the US in early December was cancelled due to some unforeseen circumstances. Alex's sister very kindly invited us to visit her and her family in Perth. And so, on 30th December 2015, we flew into Perth - the capital of Western Australia {my first visit}.
